Once upon a time, there were two lovely stay-at-home moms who were completely organized, endlessly creative, fantastic time managers, and insanely patient. Their houses were spotless, and all meals were organic, nutritionally sound, and cooked at home. Their children were perfectly coiffed, never tried to eat their shoes, and definitely never dumped a tube of glitter in their eyes.
Unfortunately aside from the stay-at-home part, we are not those moms. We are two moms who live for nap time and can’t survive without coffee. Sometimes we shower, and most times we brush our teeth pull our hair back and call it good. We try to feed our children under all guidelines, but sometimes they get graham cracker “sandwiches’ in their lunch box. And the glitter in the eyes...yes it happened and wow is glitter hard to get out of eyes! On one of our playdates at the museum (because we do really believe in fostering intellect and creativity without electronics) we came up with Craftybag. We thought others (moms especially) would appreciate fun, easy to assemble crafts that you could actually give back as gifts or make art out of for your own décor...and most importantly keep your children creatively entertained while you get a chore done or put your feet up cause let’s face it….you deserve it!
